Maryland Family Network (MFN) is seeking a Data and Technical Support Specialist to oversee management software for its Family Support and Early Head Start programs. Under the supervision of the Family Support Data Manager, the Data and Technical Support Specialist generates program status reports, monitors and tracks projects progress against goals and objectives, and serves as the liaison with Center staff for data reconciliation and problem solving. The successful candidate will communicate and collaborate effectively with program staff and supervise data entry operations at MFN to ensure that process and outcome data are entered accurately and efficiently. 

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in data system utilization. Experience in early childhood data systems and awareness of early childhood developmental milestones preferred.
  • Familiarity with “MyHeadstart” preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel functions, Power BI, Microsoft Word including tables, graphics, and merges. Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Thorough understanding and expertise in the use of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution, etc.)
  • Proficient understanding of statistics.
  • Ability to travel to end-user sites throughout Maryland. (Must have access to dependable transportation.)
