New sites will expand access to parenting support, early learning resources, and community connections for families across Maryland.
Maryland Family Network (MFN) has selected six organizations to launch new Patty Center – Family Support Programs, expanding access to trusted local support for expectant parents and families with young children across Maryland.
The new partners are:
- Active Achievers, Inc. – Baltimore City
- Cross Community – Gaithersburg
- Harford County Health Department – Edgewood
- Maple Shade Youth & Family Services, Inc. – Crisfield
- Minary’s Dream Alliance – Denton
- The Family Tree – Baltimore City
Patty Center – Family Support Programs provide welcoming community spaces where families with children from birth through age five can access parenting support, early learning opportunities, developmental information, and connections to local resources. By helping families build strong foundations during the earliest years of a child’s life, Patty Centers strengthen children, families, and communities.
The six organizations will spend the coming months working with Maryland Family Network to plan and prepare for opening their centers. This planning phase will help ensure each site is ready to provide high-quality, culturally responsive services that reflect the needs and strengths of the families they serve.

The expansion is part of Maryland’s implementation of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future, which calls for increased access to comprehensive family support services alongside high-quality early childhood education.
As each site completes the planning process, Maryland Family Network and its local partner will announce opening dates and celebrate with community ribbon-cutting events. Once open, the new Patty Centers will join a statewide network that connects families with the resources and relationships they need to help children thrive.
