
Maryland Family Network (MFN) is the intermediary for the network of Patty Center-Family Support Services in Maryland. MFN is seeking five dedicated professionals to support the revamping and operation of the Family Support Center in Southern Maryland. This center will provide both center-based and home-based early childhood education, parent education services, and service coordination for expectant parents and caregivers of children from birth to 48 months. All positions are contractual, requiring 30 hours per week from February through June 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
Director ($28.00 Per Hour)
- Lead program development and implementation.
- Manage program finances and budget.
- Supervise staff and foster a supportive work environment.
- Build partnerships with community organizations and institutions.
- Identify and establish a potential temporary or permanent location for the family support center to operate.
Early Childhood Specialist ($24.00 Per Hour) & Early Childhood Assistant ($21.00 Per Hour)
- Oversee the health, safety, and well-being of participating children.
- Implement a developmentally appropriate early childhood education program for infants and toddlers.
- Conduct regular developmental screenings and assessments to monitor children's progress.
- Create individualized lesson plans tailored to each child's developmental needs.
Service Coordinator ($24.00 Per Hour)
- Provide case management and crisis intervention services for enrolled families.
- Collaborate with families to set goals and create family partnership agreements.
- Conduct outreach and recruit new families into the program.
- Coordinate with community partners to support families.
In-Home Interventionist ($24.00 Per Hour)
- Use the Parents as Teachers curriculum to deliver home-based programming.
- Provide parent-child activity support and parent education.
- Develop individualized learning plans for children based on assessments.
- Support families by identifying needs and strengthening the parent-child relationship.
Position Requirements:
- Relevant experience and expertise in early childhood education, family services, or related fields
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility and commitment to working with families in a variety of settings
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education standards
